This policy explains what data we use to create your song, why we use it, who we share it with and how you can exercise your rights.

1. Who looks after your data

The data controller is Souza Aguiar Serviços, CNPJ 49.879.426/0001-56, located at Rua Comendador Torlogo Dauntre, 74, Sala 1207, Cambuí, Campinas/SP, CEP 13025-270. Data protection officer (Encarregado): Souza Aguiar Serviços, at support@foryoumelody.com.

2. Data we use

• Your details: name and email.
• The song's story: the name of the person being honored, the occasion, their relationship to you, the memories and details you write, and the language, style, instruments, vocals and mood.
• What we create: the lyrics and the song's audio.
• Payment: Stripe processes the payment and tells us the result, the amount, the method used and the name and email entered at checkout. We never receive your card number.
• Technical data: your IP address, stored in a transformed form (hash), to prevent abuse; site access logs; and the cookies described below.

The story may include data about other people, such as the name of the person receiving the song. You confirm that you have permission to share it. Please do not include sensitive data (health, religion, sexual orientation and similar) or ID numbers, addresses or phone numbers.

Songs for children are welcome, with information provided by their parents or guardians. Purchases are for adults 18 and over only.

3. Why we use it and our legal basis

• To create, show and deliver your song and send your order emails (performance of a contract, LGPD art. 7, V).
• To charge you and meet tax and legal obligations (legal obligation, art. 7, II).
• To protect the service against fraud and abuse, such as bulk orders (legitimate interest, art. 7, IX).
• To measure and target our ads on Meta (Facebook and Instagram), only if you accept advertising cookies (consent, art. 7, I).

We do not sell your data and we do not send you marketing emails without your consent. The emails we send are about your order. We do not use your story to train artificial intelligence models.

4. Who we share it with

We use providers that process data only to deliver the service for us:

• Anthropic (USA): writes and checks the lyrics. Receives the song's story, without your email.
• ElevenLabs (USA): creates the music. Receives the lyrics and the musical choices, without your email.
• Stripe: processes the payment.
• Resend (USA): sends the order emails.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram, USA): only if you accept advertising cookies, and only on the public pages of the site (home, song creation and information pages). Receives browsing data, such as the page visited, your browser and IP address, to measure and target ads. It never receives the song's story, the lyrics or your order link.

We may also share data when the law or an authority requires it.

5. International transfer

Our servers and several providers are in the United States, so your data is transferred outside Brazil, with the safeguards set out in LGPD article 33, such as data protection clauses in our contracts with these providers.

6. How long we keep it

• Unpaid order: expires after 3 days. At that point we delete the audio, remove the personal data from the story and the lyrics, and anonymize your account if you have no other order.
• Paid order: kept while the song is available to you and for as long as the law requires, such as tax records (5 years). You can ask us to delete it sooner, except for what the law requires us to keep.
• Access codes: deleted once used or expired.
• Site access logs: 6 months, as required by Brazil's Internet Civil Framework (Marco Civil da Internet).

7. Cookies

We use cookies the site needs to work and, only if you accept, Meta advertising cookies.

• fym_account: keeps you signed in to "My orders" (7 days).
• fym_lang: remembers your language (1 year).
• fym_consent: stores your choice about advertising cookies (1 year).
• A form security cookie (antiforgery), which lasts for your browser session.
• Security cookies, used to protect the site and for the bot check.
• Advertising, only with your consent: Meta pixel cookies (such as _fbp, up to 90 days), which help us measure our ads and show them to people who may be interested.

You can change your choice at any time in "Cookie preferences", in the site footer.

8. Your rights

Under the LGPD (art. 18), you can ask for: confirmation that we process your data, access, correction, anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data, portability, information about who we share it with, deletion of the processed data and review of automated decisions. You can also file a complaint with Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).

9. Security

The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Audio files are kept in private storage and only open through temporary links. Access codes and links are stored in protected form, and internal access to data is restricted. If a security incident may affect you, we will notify you as the law requires.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
